Digital Design Lab - Generating Square Waves

Overview

During this lab, we demonstrated how to produce an 11 MHz square wave using both software and hardware techniques. Each of the square waves had to have a 50% duty cycle as well. Using the software technique, we configured the LPC1769 microcontroller to generate the square wave and used the user manual steps to configure the PLL0. Using the hardware technique, we used a 4 MHz crystal as part of a hardware oscillator then connected the output to the clock multiplier/divider to boost the frequency to 11 MHz. For the full project, please download the file below.
