MY INVOLVEMENT
Vice President's Advisory Council (VPAC)
VPAC was originally formed in 1996 as a way of connecting student leaders with administrators, staff, and faculty for productive dialogue and creative campus problem-solving. Community conversations held among members of VPAC have directly led to dozens of positive changes to campus policies, created the Conoco Student Leadership Wing, and ultimately developed amazing student/staff partnerships across the university.
OU National Pan-Hellenic Council President 2020 - 2021
The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) is the governing council and umbrella organization for all NPHC chapters at the University of Oklahoma. The council is responsible for organizing activities of mutual concern and interest to the sororities and fraternities it oversees. The National Pan-Hellenic Council promotes excellence in academics, community and campus involvement, and brother and sisterhood.
The Kappa Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
The KAptivating Kappa Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is a part of the Courageous and Charismatic Central Region. We are an undergraduate chapter located at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is an organization of college educated women committed to the constructive development of its members and to public service with a primary focus on the black community.
The Oklahoma Louis Stroke Alliance for Minority Participation (OK-LSAMP) Scholar
A consortium of Oklahoma colleges and universities working together to develop programs aimed at increasing the number of students from under-represented populations who receive degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines.
The University of Oklahoma Data Analytics Lab (OU DALab)
Conducting undergraduate research with Dr. Christian Grant and PhD Candidate, Jasmine Dehart.
Army Reserve Officer Training Corp. (AROTC)
Learning leadership skills through classes and by practicing troop leading procedures with the AROTC.
OU Black Student Association (BSA)
"[The] Black Student Association builds a community where students can share their successes and stresses, participate in social events and leadership experiences, and engage in the broader community through service. We aim to create an enjoyable college experience for all."
OU Medical Internship
Housed through the University of Oklahoma's Future Health Scientist Partnership Program (OUFHSPP), this program provides exposure to medicine, medical professionals and their knowledge, while offering great networking opportunities.
